Here are some famous jingles and
songs from the offshore radio era. There are in RealAudio
format, so to listen to them you will need a suitable plug-in for your internet
browser. These are supplied free with present versions of Internet Explorer
(Microsoft Media Player) and Netscape Communicator (RealPlayer). If you don't
already have one, you can download RealPlayer for free from
www.real.com.
Not all of the clips are of top quality, but nor was
reception in those days!
If you are looking for the famous Radio Caroline theme tune
here by the Fortunes, you'll be disappointed. This can be listened to at many
sites, including Radio Caroline's very own. But here you will find some other
familiar songs that are now very difficult to obtain.
What's your reception like?
If you have a good, fast, internet connection, you can
