John Wetton's departure from Asia could have seen the end of the band, but Geoff Downes stepped into lead vocalist's shoes with a hard act to follow. This release features some very well-written material from the Asia mould we know, but somehow it doesn't seem to be performed with the ziz one has come to expect? Is it the vocals that are weak? Possibly. Is it the accompaniment? Maybe that too.

There are some powerful and emotive tracks (Don't cut the wire is my favourite) as well as more MOR songs like Military Man. All in all its very comfortable to listen to, but I think it could have been improved by some tweaking at the production to boost the weak areas. I'm not surprised it didn't take the world by storm.
