Prussian Blue - Room at Night
Tigga TIG006, 2005
There has been quite a gap since Prussian Blue's last album (Child) but they have certainly been busy preparing this new release. Not standing still in style, Room at Night swings back to a steadier sound, perhaps more bluesy than we are used to.
There are a lot of catchy and playable tracks amongst the nine here and it is hard to pick one out as the best for they are all excellent but at the same time all different. Voodoo Man, Prisoner and Siren are three that I find myself humming around the house. But I am particularly fond of Perfect which hits a faster beat as a penultimate track before you relax with Tomorrow Isn't.
Ahhhhhh. Zzzzzzzzzz. Beautiful.
